Religion!

I think I need to start my own religion/cult/get-rich-quick-scheme soon, because a Playstation 3 + Metal Gear Solid 4 is quite a lot of dough. Money dough. Something I do not have nearly enough of. If only I could enjoy the luxurious lifestyle of a Lee Raymond, or perhaps that of an affluent, alcoholic housewife. Shit, I could buy six PS3s and Metal Gear Solid 8!  Sadly, I am an unemployed working stiff, chasing the silvery unicorn-tail known as the American Dream.

Well, that just about does it as far as this post goes.

Well, the issue with updates (or lack thereof) has become rather apparent, and I feel the need to explain myself. Life has simply become too hectic in the past few weeks for me to focus as much energy as is required on the comic, and things have begun falling weeks behind where they should be. I recently picked up a job at Starbucks, and this is where most of my time had been spent. Job hunting is no short task, and finding one that I like (sorry, ‘don’t hate’) took even longer.

That said,  I will be trying my damndest to get updates up frequently and on time. Through all the other misfortunes and time sinks I’ve had, this one has been the stickiest… and assuming the hours I get at the job aren’t ludicrous I will have more time to work on not only weekly updates, but also the big picture: Our print project.

Hope you’re all having a wonderful Summer. Between trying to sell myself to  affluent old men downtown, and scraping dinner from what little I have in the cupboards, I’ve been enjoying some of the sun and fun it has to offer. There are rarely enough hours in a day to fit it all in, but I highly recommend finding as much time as you can to do the same. See ya guys in a bit.
